PML Field Services is fully licensed and qualified to install any type of monitoring well of any size and depth. Monitoring wells can be installed in soil or bedrock, and tested for water levels, contamination in an aquifer, stability tests or even vapour tests. We have installed all different sizes of wells, most commonly a two inch diameter pipe, but have ranged from 3/4″ – 4″ diameter.
Our licences will allow us to re-construct monitoring wells, even if we did not install them. Meaning that, if a well that has been drilled and installed, but fails to be of use, from being plugged or not being protected by a monument casing, we can come to inspect, repair, or if need be, drill another well.
